Started using QB Online 7/1/19. Including Payroll. Need to enter 2019 payroll for 1/1-6/30/19 in order to run W-2. Can't locate how to do that?

The option to enter prior paychecks is only available before you run the first payroll in QuickBooks Online. Since the Community is a public forum, I'm unable to lend a hand without asking for sensitive information.

To record them into the system, I suggest contacting our Payroll Support Team. One of them will be taking over the process to add the data on your behalf.

Here's how:

1. Click the Help icon at the top to open the Search window.
2. From there, scroll down to choose the Contact us button.
3. Enter the issue /topic in the field box and then tap the Let’s talk option.
4. In the contact information window, choose how you want to reach out to our support team: Chat or Get a callback.

You can reach them within this time: Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM PST.
