I'm here to help you align your form to print it properly, @jmmj61.

There are times that the browser you're using is the one causing your printer not to print your 1099 forms correctly. We highly suggest you to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If you're using these browsers and still encountering an error, then you can go to the browser's settings to configure it.

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner and choose Settings.
  2. Select Privacy and security then Site settings
  3. Select Additional content settings then PDF documents.
  4. Toggle Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome.

Try to print your 1099s again. In case, it doesn't align, on the print window, select the drop-down for More Settings to verify Fit to printable area or Fit to paper is not selected in the Scale dropdown.

For Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox and select the Menu icon (≡) and then select Options.
  2. Click on General and in the Applications section, locate Portable Document Format (PDF).
  3. In the Action column select the dropdown and select your PDF viewer.

Try to print your 1099s again.
