Hi @kk8030,

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community. I can share some steps you can use to resolve issues with the tax deductions in QuickBooks.

The payroll taxes will depend on the setup under the employee's information. I suggest reviewing the profile to ensure deductions are calculated correctly moving forward.

Here's how:

  1. On the left navigation bar, hover your cursor to Payroll, then select Employees.
  2. Select the employee's name.
  3. Select Edit ✎ on the section you want to update.
  4. Make the necessary changes.
  5. Select Done.

If the payroll is submitted, you'll need to contact our Payroll Support Team. One of them will need to take over and correct the details on your behalf.

Our Customer Support Team is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday) and 6 AM - 3 PM PT (Saturday). You can reach them through these steps:

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Choose Get help from a human.
  3. Select Get a callback or Start a chat

For more information about the employee info in QuickBooks, as well as how to set up payroll taxes in a new state, I recommend the following article: Edit or change employee info in payroll.

Please know that I'm just a post away if you have any other questions regarding running payroll. Take care.
