Hi there, @userholbrooksa1flash.

You can edit your employee's withholding to ensure paycheck deductions will be calculated correctly. Before that, let's first edit the employee's profile and enter the correct state withholding details. Here's how:

  1. Click the Payroll menu, then select Employees.
  2. Look for the employee’s name you'll need to correct.
  3. Click the Pencil icon beside Pay.
  4. From the What are Employee's withholdings? section click the Pencil icon.
  5. Go to the state withholding section and update the info.

Then, if you need to fix your employee's payroll with the correct withholding number, you'll need to delete and recreate the check. This is applicable if the paycheck was processed manually.

If it is through direct deposit, you'll need to reach out to our Payroll support team to fix the check.

Also, QBO has several ready-made reports that you can access to view your employee and business information. To get started, see this link: Run payroll reports.

Keep me posted if you further concerns about correcting withholding numbers. I'm always around to help. Keep safe.
