Question

We have two employees. They are usually both paid by DD. On the most recent payroll run...why has one been paid by DD and the other has not? Regards

There's a few reasons why an employee might not receive their direct deposit. This can occur when your worker's bank account details are invalid, or if there's a problem with the account.

In most cases, their direct deposit will reject, then the funds will be deposited back into your account. This process can take 2-3 banking days. In the meantime, you can pay your worker with a paper check.

If neither party receives the funds after a few business days, you can get in touch with our Customer Care team and request a direct deposit trace.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with direct deposits that may come in handy moving forward: Fix direct deposit issues

I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have a lovely day!
