Great article! I just wanted to add that we use Satago (which is free!) to manage debtors for a lot of our clients.
It links direclty into your QuickBooks Online profile and sends out automated reminders (which you can fully customise) at certain due dates to ensure that you get paid on time! One less thing for you to worry about ....
