Downloaded Transactions cannot be entered
Single user, QB 2019 for Mac, v18.0.5 R6
Problem: Cannot copy from downloaded transactions to register.
To Recreate: Download transactions from multiple banks (Amex, Chase, etc.) no problem
In the "download transactions" window, a single click on any single transaction immediately causes a new register window to pop up. The register for the associated account is open to the last line, as if I wanted to make a new entry. But the downloaded transaction is not copied to the register.
Same behavior if I highlight the downloaded transaction and press "Add one".
Tried quit / restart. Database verified OK. Tried rebuilding database. All had no effect.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hit the escape key to get out of the "add to register" mode. Or quit QuickBooks and open it again.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply! I have already tried restarting QB, as mentioned in the original post. As for opening a ticket, I'll wait a bit to see if other forum readers have any thoughts.
Thanks,
Robert

Interesting that no one else has encountered this problem.
As for contacting customer care, is there a way to open a case without making a telephone call? I'm in Europe and the support hours don't seem match my business hours.
