I'm trying to maintain my business's account balance and transaction history in quickbooks by manually importing the .qbo file. I successfully imported my transactions as a .qbo file from bank of america a few months ago. So when I go to "Downloaded Transactions", I see them all, and the account dropdown at the top says "Bank of America". Great...
But now I'm trying to update these transactions by importing another .qbo file containing all transactions since the last import. I click "import file" and select the file. Then it asks me to select which account to import into.
The problem is the "Store in the quickbooks account" dropdown is empty. The only option in the dropdown is "new...". There should be an option to select the existing bank of america account which I've already imported transactions into.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
