Let me welcome you first to the QuickBooks family. I can help sort out why the submitted payroll liabilities failed.

 

You’ll have to open the RTI Submissions page and check the exact error message. Let me guide you through the steps on how to access it.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then select Employer Settings.
  2. On the Employer Settings page, choose Real Time Information the left panel.
  3. On the RTI Submissions page, go to the bottom part to check the submission log.  

The log will also state the steps needed to rectify the issue. After correcting the information, you should be able to submit the payroll liabilities successfully.
