While there isn't a customer message filter in the Advanced Search and All Sales window, I'll share a work around to look for the invoice. 

 

You can run a Transaction List by Customer report. Then, add the Customer/Vendor Message column. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu and look for Transaction List by Customer.
  2. Change the date to the correct Report Period.
  3. Click Customize in the upper-right hand corner.
  4. Scroll-down to the Rows/Columns section, then check the box for Customer/Vendor Message.
  5. Click Run Report.

You might also want to export the report to Excel so it'l be easier to use the CTRL + F function.
