I am using QB 2016 for MAC Version V17.2.31 R32.
Most of my 1099's print out ok, but I have a few where the person's name and/or company name appear in the Recipient name box, and the address box, instead of just the address. I can certainly remove the names in question from the address box before I print the 1099's, and then put it back in so that when I send regular mail to them the name shows, but it seems odd that this isn't a problem with all of my vendors. I've compared the way all are entered into the vendor center. Anyone else have this issue? Attached is sample of the good vs bad one. Thanks in advance!
Re: Printing 1099s
Thank you for posting in the Community. I can help provide the support you need to correct the information within the Recipient name box in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Right now, we haven't received reports from other users about printing 1099's in the Mac version. Since you already checked the information from the Vendor Center, I recommend contacting our Phone Support Specialists.
One of them will need to check what's causing these details to show in the Recipient name box using the tools they have. Here's how you can reach them:
- Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact
- Select QuickBooks Mac Desktop.
- Choose a topic.
- Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number option.
