Anyone else? VAT return filed and accepted but getting a QBO message saying: Update your VAT accounting periods You have returns that need to match HMRC’s records.

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!
This is caused when the return is marked as filed on QuickBooks and submitted, but HMRC has not updated your account to show the return has been accepted. This can take up to 72 hours to update, so this message should then stop showing.
