You can follow these steps to restore a backup file:
- Click File at the top menu, and select Open or Restore Company.
- Choose Restore a backup copy and click Next.
- Choose Local Backup and click Next.
- In the Look In field, choose the location of the backup file.
- Look for the file name, and make sure the file type is .QBB.
- Click Open and select Next.
- Choose a location where you want to save the restored file, and enter the new file name.
- Click Save.
