Hello Chris,

 

We can create inventory items for the raw materials. And use them to create bundle items for the finished products.

 

 

First, let's turn on the inventory function:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab and go to the Products and services section.
  3. Mark the Track inventory quantity on hand box.
  4. Click Save and Done.

Then, here's how to create an inventory for the raw materials:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Products and Services.
  2. Click the New button and select Inventory as the item type.
  3. Enter the details of the raw material and click Save and close.

You can follow the steps to above to create the bundle item. Make sure you select Bundle as the item type. You can also refer to this article for more information: How to Set Up Inventory Tracking.

 

I'd also recommend asking your accountant to see if they have different ways of doing this.
