Join nowAfter several hours on the phone with a very patient tech guy, together we were able to figure what the problem was: settings in Microsoft Word. Each of the table's Properties had to be fiddled with (so the default settings in Word are the problem) in order for the tables to stay in line and not overlap with each other when uploaded to Quickbooks and when text is added, expanding the cell.
