Hello everyone,

 

Thanks for reaching out to us about the issue going on with your QBSE app. I want to make sure you'll be able to get back on track with automatic mileage tracking.

 

If the troubleshooting steps from the article above don't work, please follow the additional steps provided by the Supportability.

 

For Android:

 

1. Go to your phone's settings.

2. Select the Application Manager or Applications.

3. Swipe down and look for Self-Employed.

4. Select the app icon.

5. Select Mobile Data.

6. Toggle on Allow app while data server on or Allow unrestricted data usage.

7. Toggle on Allow background data usage.

 

For iOS:

 

1. Enable WiFi.

2. Set Location services to ALWAYS.

3. Set Motion & Fitness, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data to ON.

4. Prevent having to use Low Power Mode.

5. Be sure the Do not disturb mode is OFF.

6. Content & Privacy Restrictions is OFF.

7. Make sure Significant Locations is ON.

8. Regularly open QBSE.

9. Check if the app version is updated.

10. Install the latest iOS update.

 

If you're still unable to resolve the issue by following the additional steps, you'll need to contact our support. We'll need to escalate the problem to ensure it gets fixed.

2. Choose QuickBooks Self-Employed.

3. Enter necessary information.

4. Click Ask Your Question.
