How can I import large company file data from QuickBooks Desktop (2013) to Updated QuickBooks online?

Importing company files directly from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) International version isn't an option, xtremesportzz. However, I know a method on how you can migrate your data to help you get started with the online platform.

Converting your data from QBDT to QBO is only available in the US, UK, and Canada versions. With this, you'll have to move your list manually to QBO. Follow the steps indicated in each article below once you've exported your file from QBDT.

• Chart of Accounts
• Products and Services
• Customers
• Suppliers

For more details about moving your lists (suppliers, customers, inventory, and chart of accounts) to QBO, please see this article: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, you can also consider using a third-party application tool to help you import your company file from QBDT to QBO.

Furthermore, if you wish to get familiar with some of the main features of QBO, you can check out this article as your reference: Get started with QuickBooks Online.

You can always let me know in the comments if you have any other importing concerns or questions about migrating your data to QBO. We in the Community will get you covered.
