Hi guys, I just wanted to filter my expenses based on memo or tags that I have given to my transactions, but I just couldn't find, can you guys help please!

Me and my colleague both pay for expenses and we do our accounting weekly, so I thought giving each expense a tag in the name of me or my partner would be good, but later I can't find in total how much each of us has spent.

Hello, @ahmadbaezxoshnaw.

I'll walk you through how we can find the totals of your expenses with the associated tags in them.

To track how much you spent related to your business, we can easily find the transactions on the Tags page. I'll show you how to do it:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose All Lists.
  2. Then, select Tags.

  3. Click on your tag name.
  4. From there, you can also Filter the type of transactions or the Dates or Contact.
  5. Tick Apply to see the changes.

I'll add this reference to learn more about assigning classes in QBO: Track your transactions by Class.

In addition, I've got this helpful resource if you want to check the available reports for your versions that can help you manage your expenses or other transactions: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Click the Reply button if you need more help with QBO-related matters. Take care, and have a pleasant day.
