Can you assist, i am trying to post payments from the bank to payables but I get errors eg "An unexpected error occurred while accepting your downloaded transaction". ?

You might have allocated the payment transaction in the banking tab where the tax code user is "No Tax", or the tax rate ends after the bank transaction date. Let me help you avoid this error by posting your payments to your bank's payables in a clean slate.

We'll need to add a tax rate for out-of-scope manually. Here's how:

1. From the Bank Transaction tab, select Bank Transactions.
2. Look for the payment transaction you want to post and tap it.
3. In the Categorise tab, go to the GST* or VAT field, then select a tax.
4. Fill in the necessary field, then click Add to post it.
