Which bank?

Let's perform some steps to see if this is just triggered by your bank, or in QuickBooks Online (QBO), chris-brehm.

There are a few possible reasons why you can't connect to the bank. Among these are:

  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one, or try all possible links.
  • The bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank may not be a participating bank. You can contact the bank to request they establish a relationship with Intuit.

The, try connecting your online bank feeds again. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions on the left side, and select Banking.
  2. Click Add Account on the upper right hand part.
  3. Enter the name of your Financial Institution, click Find then choose your bank.
  4. Choose your bank account name.
  5. Enter your Sign In information, then click Log In.
  6. Check the box next to the credit card account that you'll be connecting.
  7. Click the QuickBooks Account drop down, and choose the credit card account you created.
  8. Click Connect, and when it is done connecting click I’m done. Let’s go!

To learn more about this one, see the Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online article. After this, you will be routed to the Banking page. The For Review tab will show the downloaded transactions from your credit card account. From there, you can review, categorize, and accept transactions to QuickBooks.

If the same thing happens, please contact our Customer Support Team to investigate what's causing this issue. In the meantime, you can manually import your bank transactions using.CSV a file. You can download transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QBO. Just follow the steps and details in the Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online article.

Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank feeds and reconciling accounts.

You can always update us on the result after contacting our support or trying the steps in the comment below. I'd like to ensure this is resolved for you. You have a good one.

@chris-brehm

Utilize the trial version of SlickConnect to isolate the issue. If the same error persists, your bank is the problem.
