Is QB Online up and running? I am having a signin problem. I get to the point where I enter the security code that was texted to me, I then get a long wait period, and finally the signin screen pops up again without signing me in.

When you're being asked to verify your account upon every log-in, the Two-Step Authentication has been enabled on your account. That's the reason you get to the point where you need to enter the security code you received via text message. If you'd like to disable the said option, you can do so using the steps below.

1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
2. From the left menu, choose Sign in & security.
3. Select 2-step verification. Then, turn off the Use 2-step verification switch.
4. Enter your account password and click Continue.

However, if you encounter the same problem and continue to wait when signing in to QBO, it could be the cache full of history and temp files that caused unexpected behaviors. I recommend logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

• For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
• For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
• For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.
