What kind of transactions do you need to download? Bank transactions from your bank or converting data from another system?

It's good to see you here in the Community, @Mlat22.

I'm here to help manually download transactions from last year so you can get started.

Just to clarify, are you referring to the bank transactions? If yes, you can follow the steps below to upload your bank transactions manually in QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  1. Go to your bank's website and download last year's transactions via a CSV file.
  2. Then, review the file format and its size. Make sure it's in the correct format before you upload it.
  3. Once done, sign in to your QBO account and click Banking/Transactions from the left menu. Then, click Upload transactions.
  4. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, choose Continue.
  5. Choose the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, click Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then, select Continue.
  8. Click Yes. When you accept your transactions, select Done.

You can check out this article for more guidance: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. This will also help you categorize the transactions to put into the correct accounts.

If you're referring to something else, don't hesitate to leave a reply below. The Community team and I are always here to assist you again.

You may also want to reconcile your bank accounts in QBO. This will help make sure your QuickBooks transactions match your bank statement.

Wishing you all the best!

Thank you for responding to my question.

I would appreciate if you could help me with uploading the January 2021 transactions from a PayPall account . The file is formatted  as a CSV file with 4 columns. Not having success with the upload.
Once I successfully send January I will move each month separately.
I  am getting a red error message when I attached the file to upload.  It is not giving a reason why it won’t accept the file.
