How do I connect Apple Card to my account? If I can not, what method can I post Apple Card charges to my Self-Employed account?

Good morning, drjimharris.

I can help you in bringing in your Apple Card charges to your QuickBooks account.

Currently, the option to connect Apple Card to QBSE is unavailable. I'll take this as feedback and share this with our product developers. This way, it might be given a chance to be added to our product updates. For now, we can manually upload your bank transactions via CSV file. We can start by signing into Apple's website and follow the on-screen instructions on how to download them.

Once done, you can follow these steps in importing your credit card transactions:

Log into your QBSE account.
Click the Gear ⚙ icon.
Select Imports.
Choose the appropriate account you want to add the transactions into.
Click Browse and find the CSV file you downloaded from your bank.
Select the file, then click Open.
Hit Continue to complete the process.

If you want to check if there are any duplicate transactions, you can follow these steps:

In your QBSE account, go to Transactions.
Select the appropriate account from the Account: All drop-down menu.
Select All from the Date drop-down menu, then check the transactions.
Delete the duplicates (if there's any).

Yes, PLEASE move forward to integrate Apple Card into an offered account for QB. This would be MUCH MUCH appreciated!

I learned how to export the CVS file from my Apple Card, so I am now manually entering each charge into my QB. Again, would help so much to have the automated direct import.

Why is request going to dead ears? It's a simple ask! at least respect the query as many of us users want to connect our Apple card to our Intuit accounts! We are your bottom line - I like the self-employed service and have been using it for many years - Just add the Apple Card to the list?!?! Why is that hard? and why don't you answer to the why you haven't done it yet? Giving you this year to address the simple request and also to improve your customer service - about to boycott Intuit honestly - you don't seem to care about your users! You stock is showing this 😉

I was hoping that by now this would have been fixed by QuickBooks, seems crazy that 8 months later they still have not created a way for this to integrate. I am sorry but this is not acceptable. Please fix this so that it will integrate, it is too cumbersome to have to convert the file and then bring it in.

Once again, not surprisingly so, this is an important feature that does not get implemented while the marketing and engineering team worry about how they can develop some other features that they can charge for.

It is ludicrous that this is not possible. I mean, this is 2020, Apple Pay and Apple Card is one of the fastest growing payment services, but Intuit once again don't do anything about it.

There are just so many glaring misses and missing features to really use QBO, and I don't see any progress in getting anything implemented.

I think the only input they understand is if we call just cancel our QBO and go somewhere else. There are plenty of other, more suitable and better configured programs out there that do the same and better.

Intuit is not listening customers, there is only lone language they seem to understand that that is the flow of money. Let's divert it to make them listen. I will.

Also agree that it's ridiculous that this isn't integrated. The bugs and crappy development of this product is outrageous given they have a monopoly. Ever try to email A/R statements to a bunch of different clients? Every try to figure out where the email address is extracted from for certain forms?

Intuit is great at collecting money...and a lot more since they pushed us all to online. Their dev team is either lazy or incompetent.

Hello, CBoyDave.

I personally use Apple Card as well and I think it's a great addition to our Online Banking feature for iOS or Apple users.

Our engineers might be working to bring the service into QuickBooks Self-Employed. However, I'd recommend sending a request for Apple Card to be added to our Online Banking feature. Here's how:

Go to Transactions, then click the Connect account button.
Type Apple card in the search bar (or use Apple Card's browser mode link).
Scroll down until you see the Still can't find your bank? link. Click the Request support for your bank button instead if there are no results.
Enter the name and the link in the box.
Click Request.

We will work with Apple to establish a connection with our Online Banking system. However, they will still have the final say regarding the request process.

In the meantime, you'll want to import your Apple Card transactions through a CSV file:

On the Transactions page, click the arrow icon beside Connect account.
Choose Import transactions.
Click the Import older transactions button under Action.
Browse for the CSV file you've downloaded from Apple Card.
Hit Continue.

After importing them, you can start categorizing your transactions for your estimated taxes.

I have multiple credit card accounts in QuickBooks for Mac 2019 V18.0.9 R10 Build 3424. When I download transactions from one Master card, QB opens it in my Discover card and tells me there are no transactions to download

After the month is over, do this:

1. On your iPhone, Select Wallet.

2. Select Apple Card

3. Press Card Balance

4. Under Statement select the previous month (e.g. March 2021)

5. Select Export Transaction

6. Choose the fourth choice (Quickbooks OBO)

7. Transfer to desktop machine. You could text, email. But for Mac users, select the first choice (Airdrop)

8. On Laptop, Click on the downloaded file. If nothing happens, associate QBO file extension with Quickbooks.

9. Transaction magically appear in Downloaded Transactions.

I’m assuming this will only work for versions of quickbooks with a desktop app on said Mac, correct? Associating it with the browser version (for example QBSE) doesn’t seem like it would work in this way. Or am I missing something?

WTF? Intuit - It has been three years and nine months since the original request on February 2, 2020, to connect Goldman Sachs Apple pay to Quickbooks Enterprise. Who are you fooling?

Now that you have raised our monthly subscription fee, how about listening to your customers and adding the features we request as the Goldman Sachs Apple pay to Quickbooks Enterprise synch?

Intuit continues to piss off its customers. Good job. Way to go!

Any updates as to when this connectivity between Apple Card/Goldman Sachs Mastercard and QBSE will be implemented? It's going on 2 years since this thread was opened. Not really interested in manually adding transactions, as it kind of defeats the whole point of QBSE. Was really hoping to use AppleCard as my primary for all business expenses and the lack of urgency to implement is a little disappointing.

As of now, we're unable to connect Apple cards in QuickBooks Online. In the meantime, you'll want to manually import your Apple Card transaction through a CSV file.

You can start by signing into Apple's website and getting transactions from there. For your reference, check out this article for more details about the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you can submit a product request inside QuickBooks. We have a corresponding team that gathers the information to be reviewed by our product development team. They'll be the ones to add it in future updates after it's been approved.

Here's how:

Click the Gear icon.
Select Feedback.
Enter your product suggestion.
Hit Next to submit.

It is now October 2022, this thread started at the beginning of 2020. Is there still no way to directly link an Apple Card account to QB? Seems crazy that after 22+ months this still doesn't exist. Please listen to the requests, Quickbooks. The card is issued by Goldman Sachs, and there are other Goldman Sachs login options - how is this so difficult?

I know how important it is to be able to connect your Apple Card to QuickBooks Online and your frustration in waiting for it to be available in QBO is truly valid. If I was in your situation, I'd feel the same way too. Let me share updates regarding this matter.

As per the last update, the option to connect Apple Card to QBO is currently unavailable. I know that you've waited too long to have this option but I just want to let you know that a new feature will go through extensive testing to ensure that it is functional before being implemented. Rest assured that once there's an available update regarding this, you will be notified through email or you can check on this link to be updated: Recently updated ideas in QuickBooks Online.

In the meantime, you can consider the recommended workaround by my colleagues which is to manually upload your Apple Card transactions to QBO.

As of January 2023 the manual importing of a QBO file no longer works. I tried both the December 2022 and January 2023 QBO files for my Apple Card statements and QuickBooks just hangs and has to be forced to stop. After 20 years of being a QuickBooks user about to migrate away to another product as I am tired of these types of issues (notwithstanding that this should have been an automated process by now) especially giving the pending move to annual subscriptions only. WTF Intuit.
