There are some errors I have: Error: Electronic Service Address (ESA) must be provided for SMSF. Error: Account number must be provided. Error: Account BSB must be provided. Error: The fund name for the SMSF must be provided. Error: Either the ABN or the USI of the superannuation fund must be provided. Error: Account name must be provided. Error: The organisation name in the fund details must be provided.

If the employee belongs to an SMSF, you are seeing errors regarding the ESA, ABN, Fund Name, and Bank Details.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Employees section.
  2. Select the employee with the SMSF.
  3. Once done, click Pay run Inclusions or Super Funds.

Ensure the Fund Name, ABN, and Electronic Service Address are entered correctly. Also, check the SMSF bank details and fill in the missing Account Name, BSB, and Account number.

If the employee belongs to a standard regulated fund, you are seeing errors regarding the USI or ABN. To fix the error, here’s how:

  1. Go to the employee's Super Funds section.
  2. Ensure you have selected the correct regulated fund from the look-up list.
  3. Verify that either the Unique Superannuation Identifier (USI) or the fund's ABN is populated. If it is blank, search for the correct USI and save it.

Once all date fields are completely filled out and saved. Go back to Payroll, then Super Payments. This will let your create the super batch payments without error and will allow you to select the payslip for payment.
