Are credit card charges added as invoices and if so when they are matched will the invoice show as paid?

If you've downloaded credit card charges, this will not add them as invoices. This will, however, add them to the register of the credit card account in QuickBooks. Below I've included articles that go over credit card accounts in QuickBooks.
