Good day, @charissekushmaul. I'd be glad to provide answers to your queries in QuickBooks.
QuickBooks Online doesn't have the option to automatically record subscription fees as an expense in the program.
if your bank account is linked to online banking, your subscription payment will be automatically downloaded and categorized as an expense in the Banking page.
If you prefer to manually record the payment within the program, you can follow these steps:
Select+ New and selectExpense.
In thePayeefield, choose the vendor.
Select the account you used to pay for the expense in the Payment account field
In thePayment datefield, enter the date for the expense.
Choose how you paid for the expense in thePayment methodfield
In theCategory detailssection, enter the expense info. In the Category dropdown, select the expense account you use to track expense transactions. You can also enter specific products and services in theItem details section to itemize the expense.
Enter the AmountandTax.
If you plan to bill a customer for the expense, check theBillablebox and enter their name in the Customerfield.
Feel free to leave any additional questions or comments below regarding fees and tracking your transactions. I'm here to assist you, and I wish you continued success with your business.
