Be able to show Quantity on my Purchase Orders without upgrading to inventory package.

Let me clarify some things for you. When creating a Purchase order, the quantity will show even without turning on the inventory tracking. Let me show you the process of creating a purchase order in QuickBooks Online. 

To start, make sure to enable the purchase orders feature.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon, then select Account and Settings.
2. Choose the Expenses menu.
3. In the Purchase orders section, select the ✎ icon.
4. Check the box beside Use purchase orders.
5. Click Save, then Done.

Then, you can now enter a purchase order.

1. Go to the + New button.
2. Select Purchase Order.
3. From the Vendor ▼ drop-down menu, choose the vendor.
4. Choose the Ship To ▼ drop-down menu and choose the customer, if you are shipping a product directly to a customer, 
5. Fill the custom field if you are using it.
6. In the Category details or Item details section, enter the purchases. 
7. Click Save and close to complete the entry.
