In QuickBooks, desktop, pro, is there a straightforward way, other than deleting, and re-entering, an improperly entered bill to convert it to a credit card charge?

@ddjohnson6

The only option is to delete and repost.

You may also choose to post a Bill Payment towards the bill and choosing that credit card to pay with. This will show in the credit card account the same way as a charge would.

Let me know if this helps.

Hello there, @ddjohnson6. I'll share some insights about converting a bill to another transaction type in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

OnTrack Team is correct that there is no integrated way to change a Bill type transaction into a Credit Card type transaction. Generally, you can't change any transaction type in QBDT to another. You'll have to delete and recreate them.

Additionally, you can visit this article to view how Accounts Payable is used to track the money you owe from your vendors: Accounts Payable workflows in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please let me know if you have additional questions or concerns about vendor transactions. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Take care!
