Discount restrictions in QB Enterprise

Is there a way to restrict users discounting in QB desktop Enterprise when invoicing a customer? or creating a bottom line price restriction. I know there is an advance price tool but I need this to be on a user basis, and I am not sure how.

Welcome to the Community. Let me share some information about your discount concern in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Currently, restricting users specific to the discounting feature is unavailable. However, I suggest you try customizing the roles in the Enterprise version so users can only do certain areas in QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Company tab at the top menu bar and hover your cursor to Users.
  2. Select Set up Users and Roles
  3. Go to the Role List tab.
  4. Choose New or Edit.
  5. Modify the access. 
  6. Hit OK.
