Question

Every couple of days I get a notification from QuickBooks that I'm not tracking trips. Ok. I don't want to. How can I turn off this notification without turning off all?

Android app on a Samsung Galaxy 9+. Have tapped the notification,  gone thru the steps of not turning it on ?, but still get the notification every couple of days.  I don't want to turn this feature on. It's not necessary for me. I WOULD like the notification to stop though. ?

It's good to see you here in the Community, @gordon-growbette.

I want to make sure the mileage tracking notification is turned off.

One of the possible reasons why you're receiving mileage-tracking notifications is that the Auto-tracking option is turned on. Let's turn off the option so you'll not get trip-tracking notifications. Here's how:

  1. Open the QuickBooks mobile app.
  2. Select the menu ☰ icon and then Mileage.
  3. Click Auto-tracking.
  4. Toggle the Auto-tracking option to turn it off.

Nevertheless, if you still get notifications after turning off the option, you'll have to turn it off through your mobile settings. To do so, you can go to your phone settings and select the notification section. Then, turn it off for the QBO app. However, this option can turn off all the notifications from QuickBooks.

Come back to this post and let me know how it goes, @gordon-growbette. I'll be around to provide further assistance.

Have a great day ahead!
