Your bank account may lose connection for a variety of reasons. These conditions can lead to disconnecting your bank account but don't panic. I will teach you how to reauthorize it in QuickBooks Online.

You can disconnect and reconnect your bank account if you receive an error notice telling you that you need to update it.

Categorize and match transactions in QuickBooks Online to save them in the register. before disconnecting your account. It prevents duplicates from being downloaded when you reconnect.

Follow the steps below to disconnect:

1. Select Bookkeeping, then Transactions, and finally Bank Accounts.
2. Choose the blue bank square next to the bank account you want to disconnect.
3. For the bank account you're updating, click the Edit icon. Then choose Edit account info.
4. Tick the checkbox to Disconnect this account on save.
5. Click Save and close.

Then, reconnect your bank account by following these steps:

1. Select Bookkeeping, then Transactions, and finally Bank Accounts.
2. Choose the Link account.
3. Reconnect the account to internet banking by following the steps.

You can also upload your transactions manually if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
