Hello I have a big issue. since the beginning of 2019 I have had my sales listed under job supply's. I need to correct this without loosing all my invoices?

Let me share some insights on how you can allocate the sales that have been posted to job supplies.

To correct this, you can change the income account of each item associated with job supplies to the correct sales account.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon and then select All lists.
2. Choose Products and Services.
3. Click Edit for items or services in question that have the job supply Income account.
4. Then change it to the correct sales Income account.
5.  Click Save and close.

Once done, you can then update the customer's invoices that are associated with the items by picking them again from the product/services list. We do this because the updated items won't automatically update the invoices once you've changed them.

You can then pull up a Profit and Loss report to review if the items are posted to the right sales account.

Alternatively, you can create a journal entry to minimize your workload in assigning it to the right sales account. Also, I'd suggest consulting your accountant for professional advice in doing so.
