Question

Hello! Is there a way to retrieve my 2018 expenses? I thought I could access then anytime once they were entered. Like they would remain there indefinitely. Thank you!

Hi there, rosedeck1.

Let's make sure that in the Transactions page, the date range is set to Custom date.

Here are the steps:

  1. In QuickBooks Self-Employed, go to Transactions.
  2. Select All from the Type drop-down menu. Then, choose the account from the Account drop-down.
  3. From the Date drop-down menu, select Custom date.
  4. Type or select the Start and End date and click Apply.

Please see the sample screenshot below:

If you still can't see the transactions, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team, so we can check this further.

Here are the steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can click the Assistant option or click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click the Continue button.
  4. Select Start a chat or Get a callback.

You can always get back to us if you need anything else. Thanks.
