How do I add a payment made to my credit card? This particular credit card does not upload, I have to add information from the statement. Thank you

I understand how important it is to know how to record payments made to credit cards in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm here to help you out.

There are several ways to record payments depending on the transactions we make. To ensure that we record accurate transactions, we have to refer to the bank statement details and use them as a reference to record the payments made to your credit card. To easily record payments made to your credit card, we have to change the payment method to a credit card. 

If you're referring to invoice payments made to your credit card, please follow these steps: 

1. Go to the + New button. 
2. Under the Customers column, choose Receive payment. 
3. On the Customer dropdown, select your customer's name. 
4. From the Payment method, choose credit card. 
5. In the Deposit dropdown, select the account you put the payment into. 
6. Fill out the necessary information. 
7. Click Save and close.
