How do i add a sku number on my visible PO screen?

You'll need to turn on this feature first to get the SKU to show up in the purchase order. I'll guide you how:

1. Click on the Gear icon then select Account and Settings.
2. Select Product and Services.
3. Go to the Sales tab, then go to the Products and Services section.
4. Mark the box to Show SKU column.
5. Click on Save and close.

Then enable the SKU option in the Custom Form Styles.

1. In the Gear icon, choose Custom Form Styles.
2. Search the Standard or Master template, then click Edit.
3. Go to the Content tab, then click the middle part of the template.
4. Click the SKU option.
5. Hit Done. 

Once done you can add or edit a product and service items to QuickBooks Online.

In case you want to pull up a purchase order report, you can run these reports and customize them:

• Open Purchase Order List
• Open Purchase Order Detail
• Other Purchase Detail reports
