Question

How do I bulk edit sales receipts? I would like to apply the same changes (product, salesperson, memo) to >1000 sales receipts.

Editing your sales receipts in bulk is a time-saving option, @josh67. Let me share details about this with QuickBooks Online (QBO).

For the time being, you'll have to edit transactions (i.e., sales receipts) one at a time in QBO. We encourage this to make sure the modified and added information is correct and accurate.

However, you may find a third-party application and integrate it into QBO. This way, you can edit your sales receipts in bulk. You can either find one through the QuickBooks App Center page or the Apps menu inside the system.

Also, I want to make sure you're updated with the latest news, features, and system upgrades with QBO. To do this, I'd recommend visiting our blog, through this article: The QuickBooks Blog.

Additionally, to further guide you in managing your sales and other income transactions, you can check out this article: QuickBooks Help Articles. It includes topics about customizing sales forms and customer credits, to name a few.

If you have any other concerns or questions, just tag my name in the comment section below. Have a great day and stay safe.

@josh67

Utilize a migration tool. Export your Sales Receipts data to XLS, modify it, and import it back in bulk.
