Hi there, mce683.

To get Quickbooks to auto-fill email addresses from your contact list, you'll need to log in to QuickBooks mobile app. From there, you can manually add a customer and supplier information. Please note that you need to have an email address associated with the customer/supplier already in your contact list.

Here's how from the Customers section:

  1. Log in to your account using the QuickBooks app.
  2. Click the Menu ☰. Then, choose Customers.
  3. Click the Plus button to add a new customer.
  4. Type the name of the customer that already in your contact list. Then, the email address automatically appears.
  5. Fill in the other necessary field.
  6. Hit Save.

You can also import your phone's contact list into the QuickBooks Online app so this will automatically add customer's information in your QuickBooks account. Please check this article to see the process: Import your phone's contact list into the QuickBooks Online app (Android only).

Please follow the steps for Vendors or Suppliers.

  1. Click the Menu ☰. Then, choose the All section.
  2. Choose Suppliers under the Money out section.
  3. Click the Plus button to add a new supplier.
  4. Enter the name of the supplier. Then, the email address automatically shows.
  5. Click Save.

Then, once done, you can now start entering a customer's and supplier's transactions with an automatically entered email addresses.

Please refer to this article on how to change your customer-facing/outgoing email address in just a few steps: Change your customer-facing email address.

Let me know how you get on after the steps. I'll be right here if you need anything else. Have a nice day!
