I purchased something with a credit card and returned it. They are returning the funds to my credit card account. There seems to be no way to add this credit on QuickBooks without upgrading to a more expensive premium account. I'm looking for a workaround. Thanks!
We have a way to input your credit card refund in QuickBooks, @ManifestIntl.
You don't need to upgrade your subscription to handle all your credit card reimbursements. QuickBooks Online has a Credit card credit feature to help you achieve that task. I'm glad to provide the complete steps.
To record the refund, follow the steps below:
- Go to the +New button and select Credit card credit.
- Choose a payee, credit card account, then set the date.
- Select the product in the list and enter the amount.
- Click Save and close.
