Thanks for dropping by, and let me share a few details about the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @terrinv-gmail-co.

Normally, Primary admin and Company admin can see the accounts listed in the chart of accounts. The ability to separate accounts by division isn't possible at this time.

I know how crucial it is to you and other company members to access specific accounts according to their work fields/divisions. In the meantime, I suggest submitting feedback using your QuickBooks Online account by clicking the Gear icon on the top right.

Your suggestion makes our accounting software grow innovatively, and our Product Engineers will be examining the usefulness of this ability once they read your feedback.

Also, I'll be adding some articles related to this topic for more details about the chart of accounts and user roles in QBO:

You know I can assist you if you have additional concerns with managing user access in QBO. I'll get back to you soon. Take care, and have a great day ahead!

What kind of business do you run? Consider having an additional app (e.g Project Management, CRM) to integrate with your QBO account. Your team doesn't need to access your QBO.
