How do I split a utility bill between business and partner draw that has entered through online banking?

I own and live in my Bed and Breakfast business property. My account says I need to split utilities between business expenses and partner draw the percentage of the home used for personal living.

I'll show you how to use the Split option for your utility bill from your online banking feeds in QuickBooks Online. This is to apply the amount to the correct accounts.

Here's how:

From your Banking tab.
Go to the For Review tab.
Select the transaction to expand the view. If selection is on Match, change it to Add.
Click Split next to the Add button. This opens the Split Transaction window.
Select the Categories (accounts). Enter an amount for each split. Then, add the Payee and Customer for each split.
Select Save and add.

Yes, how do I split the amount of a water bill? Do I calculate the percentage and enter the difference of the amounts home business vs home? How?

I have some information about recording water bill. In QuickBooks, you can your water bill into different accounts by following the above steps provided by my peer @Charies_M. Just make sure to enter the amount in the correct account. Choose the account from the Category drop-down. See the image below.

When you're ready, continue with reconciling your bank account with your bank statements. Refer to this article for the detailed steps: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
