HI there, @ryan-ballheimer.

We can add an estimate to an invoice. The payment or credits on the estimate won't appear in the customer center or post to a sales account until you add them to an invoice.

First, let's locate the estimate you already created then add it to the invoice. Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales, then select Customers.
  2. Click Estimate then find an estimate you want to invoice.
  3. In the Action column, select Start Invoice.
  4. Select Add for all the estimates listed you want to invoice.
  5. Review the information pulled from the estimate and edit if necessary.
  6. Save your invoice.

Once done, you can receive payment or credit the amount on the invoice. You can check these articles for your reference:

Also, you'll see the estimate status as Closed when it was fully billed by the customer. You can run the Estimates by Customer reports to check if the estimates that you're making a lot of progress billing are closed.
