How do you record a deposit and make it related to: Sales Receipt?

We cannot link a deposit to a sales receipt unless it's an online banking transaction. Ideally, a deposit can be made out of a sales receipt, as shown below. Can you give me more details of the scenario so that I can replicate it on my end?

To deposit from a sales receipt, you must first set the Deposit to field to Undeposited funds so you can still process a deposit transaction for it.
