Hi there, @manylightnings1.

It's my pleasure to walk you through on how to edit the account types in the Chart of Accounts. Here's how:

  1. Go to Accounting on the left navigation menu then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the triangle in the Action column next to the account that you'd like to change and choose Edit.
  3. Select the Account Type and Detail Type that you'd like to change.
  4. Click Save and Close and Save and New
  5. Choose Yes to the prompt that appears.

For additional information on how to edit the Chart of Accounts, you can watch this video tutorial: Understanding the Chart of Accounts.

I've also shared this article to learn how to use reports in QuickBooks Online: Run reports.

Hello there, @rostomhaidar. Glad to know that you're using QuickBooks trial.

Are you using the trial period for  QuickBooks Online Plus? If yes, restarting the process or clearing the Chart of Accounts can only be done by making the imported accounts inactive.

You can do it one by one. Here's how you can make accounts inactive in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Select Accounting in the left navigation menu.
  2. Find the account you want to delete.
  3. Then, click the drop-down arrow in the Action column.
  4. Choose Make inactive.
  5. Click Yes. Then, do the same steps for the other accounts.

That helps you not display the accounts you don't need. I've gathered some articles where you can get more ideas about managing accounts in QuickBooks Online:
