I hope you're doing well today, skadakanchi-evok.

When you record a journal entry, the transaction will show on both accounts you've selected from the Account column. Here's a sample screenshot of what it looks like:

If you're certain that the journal entry is a duplicate, you can delete it. To find the journal entry, you can run the Journal report by following these steps:

Go to Reports on the left panel.
Type Journal in the search field.
Set the Report period and click the Customize button.
Go to the Filter section and choose Journal Entry from the Transaction Type drop-down.
Click Run report.
Select the Journal Entry link to open transaction and click More located at the bottom.
Choose Delete and hit Yes to confirm.

Hi Team,

Thanks for reply.But my doubt was, suppose I have JSON data of attached journal entrys and I have called the JournalEntry Create API to create journal entrys in QBO for first time.If I send the same data for the second time to the JournalEntry Create API it is creating the new records of data instead of updating.

Here my question is that we need to handle the update scenario from our side or QBO will handle the update scenario.

If it is case we need to handle the update scenario on what property we need to query the journal entry api to get existing records?
