Welcome to the Community, @Steve O.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the ability to automatically sort time entries by their latest date is currently unavailable. You will need to manually click the Filter drop-down to change it to your preferred date.

Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the + New option at the top left to create Invoice.
  2. Select the customer's name.
  3. In the Add to Invoice at the right pane, click the All dates drop-down in the Filter by section and choose your preferred date. You can also pick a Custom date.
  4. Tick Add on the Time entries to include them in the invoice.
  5. Hit Save and close once done.
