I created a recurring invoice with a starting date of today. How do I get QB to generate the invoice? Also, how can I put in a range of service dates into the template?

Anything scheduled before or on the day the transaction is created won't occur until the next appropriate date based on the schedule.

You may need to customize the form styles by adding custom fields on the header area to add the range of services dates. Let me show you how.

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Custom Form Styles under Your Company.
3. Select a template under Custom form styles and click Edit under Action.
4. Go to the Content column and click the header area.
5. You can add a field under Display, just click on the Custom field.
