I have a customer that I am trying to make inactive. "This customer cannot be deleted because it is used on a recurring template." I cannot find any recurring template

You can delete the recurring template in QuickBooks through the Recurring Transaction lists.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear ⚙️ icon.
2. Under Lists, choose Recurring Transactions.
3. Highlight the template you would like to use.
4. In the Action drop-down arrow, choose Delete.
5. Click Yes.
