Good morning, @cabinetsnclosets

Welcome to the Community! I'd be more than happy to help you print your packing slip for an invoice.

Have you tried the instructions listed below to print a packing slip

  1. Go to the Customers & Leads and then Customers
  2. Select the particular customer to display a list of their transactions.
  3. From the Transaction List tab, choose the box next to the invoice you want to print a Packing slip.
  4. Press the Batch actions drop-down, then pick Print packing slip

This should do the trick. Let me know if these steps are still resulting in an invoice printing instead of the packing slip. I'll be waiting for your response!

Yes I tried that but instead of generating a packing slip an invoice appears. The url even contains the following text "/purchsales/packingslip/print"

Hi, cabinetsnclosets.

Thanks for getting back to us. Allow me to chime in and help ensure you can print your packing slip in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To check if the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies) causing this unusual response, let's sign in to your QBO using a private browser (incognito).

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, try to reprint your packing slip again to double-check. You can follow the steps shared by my colleague above for further guidance.

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

I'm only a post away if you have more questions about this or anything else QuickBooks. I'll be more than willing to assist. Take care always.
