Question

I linked up my bank account and 2 credit cards. Most of my expenses are showing up as income. There is no way to change the entries to expenses.

Hello there, @maile-roundtree-. Welcome to QuickBooks Community!

The information we receive is dependent upon what your bank or financial institution shares with us. With that, I'd recommend logging in to your bank website to check if there's an ongoing issue in your bank.

If verified that everything is good from the bank's website, it could be that you've categorized the transactions as income in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account. If that's the case, they'll as shown income. Make sure to categorize them properly.

If it has nothing to do with the categorization, I'd suggest giving us a short call to conduct an investigation of this on our end. To contact our specialists, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Assistant menu.
  2. Type Talk to a human.
  3. Then select either Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent, or Get a callback.

I've also collected these resources that you can use for reference:

You can also share with me the name of your bank. This way, I can check more resources and provide accurate details about your concern. Please visit again if you need more assistance. Take care always, maile-roundtree-
