Thank you for joining the QuickBooks Community, controller8. There are few ways to align your checks in QuickBooks Online. You can adjust by Adobe Reader or Fine-tune alignment. Here's how to use Adobe Reader to make these changes:

  1. Click + New and add any additional information.
  2. Select Print Checks.
  3. Choose Print setup, located at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Choose No, continue setup to be on the Adobe Reader section.
  5. Download or update the latest version of Abode Reader. This controls how checks print in QuickBooks Online.
  6. After downloading or updating Adobe Reader, use default PDF viewer as your settings for the browser.
  7. Click the View preview and print sample, then choose the Print icon.
  8. Once finished, select Yes, I'm finished with setup.
  9. You can then go and print the check.

If the alignment looks excellent, then you are good to go. If it still seems off, let's use the fine-tune alignment.

  1. On the Print checks setup window, select No, continue setup twice to be on the Adjust Alignment Screen.
  2. Drag the grid inside the large square to the place where it appears on your printout.
  3. After adjusting the grid, print a sample. If necessary, continue changing until the alignment is accurate.
  4. Choose View preview and print sample in the lower left and click the Print icon at the top right.
  5. If you still need to do some fine-tuning, close the sample and return to the grid to make adjustments, then print.
  6. Select Finish Setup once everything looks OK.

Let me know how this goes and if you need any more help. I encourage you to go through these articles on aligning how your checks print and how to fix alignment for preprinted checks.
